Svenska Bee nuclei are the basis for new bee colonies
The bee cores are artificial swarms created by beekeepers. Usually to form a nucleus it is necessary to start from an already developed colony from which the combs will be taken.
The "nucleus" is therefore defined as a new colony of bees made up of three honeycombs with brood of different ages, from two honeycombs with food reserves (honey and pollen), a queen bee of the year of formation of the nucleus (in some cases the queen is from the previous year but in this case the cost of core descends) and a quantity of bees such as to completely cover all five honeycombs on both sides.

- 5 frames composed of: 3 frames of at least 70% capped brood; and 2 frames with honey supplies.
- a quantity of worker bees sufficient to cover the total number of combs.
