The Virgin Queen Bee has the merit of being the only type of Queen available in the pre-autumnal period.

Available in both the Buckfastbreed, and ligustica, This type of Queen bee is revealed, on certain occasions, theOnly solution to make the Queen's introduction into an orphan swarm.
The Virgin queen Bee can be fertilated directly by the drones at the customer's farm at a minimum temperature of 20 degrees.
TheVirgin Queen bee can be shipped to Italy, but also abroad throughout Europe and is shipped along with other accompanying bees, indispensable for the protection of the Queen bee and consequent acceptance by the orphan family.
It is good to reiterate some steps immediately following the arrival of the product.
We would obviously recommend using the Virgin Queen bee as soon as possible. In fact, despite the survival in the Cage of the Virgin Bee for several days after the arrival of the parcel, the animal does not derive any benefit from this situation, but rather accuses a condition that could compromise the imminent insertion in the new colony. Remember that under normal conditions The Queen bee is fruitful after a week of life.
In addition, before the actual insertion we recommend:
- To keep the cage sheltered and not too hot (optimum: 20 + °c)
- Supplying the portion of the candy consumed during transport
- To choose, if possible, an orphan family with few specimens in order to facilitate the entrance and acceptance of the Virgin
